About Us
At WP Farms in Central Arkansas, cattle have been a part of our lives for years — but we didn’t add our first Longhorn until 2024. Last spring, we cleared some new pasture, and the old guys decided we needed a Longhorn to add a little color to the herd. One turned into an obsession when the young guys got hooked on bloodlines, pedigrees, and all things Longhorn. Before we knew it, we’d sold off all the regular cows and went all-in. Things got a little out of hand (according to the old guys), and we were “cut off” from buying more… so we bought more land to make room for the growing herd. Now the old guys love spending time watching the herd, and we drive them crazy talking herd plans and future pairings. At WP Farms, it’s all about Longhorns, family, and having a little fun along the way.
